As some of you may be aware, I am looking for a reseller account and in my first batch of possibles was donhost.

Now I know the majority of people using this forum don't like them or have had a bad experience, so please don't comment on their service.

What I would like to know is if any of you have ever had any dealings with Vibus (www.vibus.net)

There one thing I noticed about there reseller plan.It only included 5 gb a month which is not much especially do the fact it has 2gb of web space and up to 300 domains.There decated servers and colcation services only offer 30gb which is not very much for a server.

Yes, I have to agree with Spock69. You would hard pushed to offer your clients any resonable amount of bandwidth. (without any extra charges)
Livestats £5+vat per domain They also charge extra for stats. Any good host will include this as standard.
Anonymous DNS Servers so your clients know nothing about us. Additional cost of £60+vat per year. They also charge extra for Anonymous DNS :eek:

Maybe look elsewhere ?

yes....those are pretty good UK prices / allocations actually....

Unfortunately bandwidth is 50 - 80 times the price of US equivalent........not much we can do about that one!

We arent competing with US hosts anyway.....if we 'offered' 20GB and said you couldnt store anything on the servers, would that get us more US customers ;)

We run the largest web centre in N.Ireland and strive to compete in the UK market against the likes of FH and Host Europe, unfortunately bandwidth over here would never come down enough to be US competitive........

I think one good thing we can boast is that you dont hear people slating our services.....

Any customer we get, we keep....we have a low customer turnover of about 1% as practically everyone who signs up renews ever year....

I could of swore that happened, but I could not find the post so I must retract that statement. I sincerely apologize. No, it doesn't bother me at all for people to disagree. Gotta expect that. What bothers me is the manner that some people choose to respond.
