I really don't know what is going on but on my laptop I was prompted to upgrade Firefox from 1.5.0.5 to 1.5.0.6 and so I did so as I have done many times.

Then after the upgrade my Firefox browser won't connect to the internet. It just won't work. IE works fine but not FF. I tried searching on google and all I got was "Uninstall and Reinstall" and I did that but still nothing.

Anyone heard of this happening on this release or know how to fix this?

Same here. I updated 3 computers, everything fine...except FF doesn't import Opera's bookmarks anymore... It seems to do so, but nothing is imported...

When you update your firefox, the firewall require you setting the permission again.

In my case with ZoneAlarm, it prompted me.

Runs fine for me, try reinstalling it. Delete the prefs folder before reinstalling incase it's a corrupt profile.

Smooth update here no problems seen as of yet think goodness.

It is working fine on my Desktop too after the update.

Smooth ish here, it killed the Flash plugin and crashed on everysite that had it... including the Adobe site I had to get to to try and download it again!

Perhaps you need to access your firewall again and add firefox as an acception, maybe firefox erased it from your acceptions when you installed the new one, just a thought perhaps - I'm probably wrong through :S

I've updated all my 3 computers and all are running fine....maybe it could be other problem.

On a client side I recently updated Firefox on around 50 machines, all were working fine, just today in the morning, one of the user told that his bookmark disapeared and toolbar just got reset to default without any search engine. So I went to http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewforum.php?f=38 and found the solution.
