And here is some of the other list http://www.wurd.com/pwp_ftpindex.php.
placebo3 08-01-2006, 12:33 PM RBrowser is available for free. You can also purchase a license to unlock more features.

Cyberduck is also free.

And there's always the command-line FTP client that's included with OS X.
westcan 08-01-2006, 01:40 PM Cyberduck (http://cyberduck.ch/) is quite a nice app.

Standard web browsers will work as well.
1 & 1 = 3 08-01-2006, 09:38 PM I wish I'd known about Cyberduck before I'd paid for Transmit! Still, Transmit has been excellent for the 18 months I've had it.
gate2vn 08-02-2006, 05:08 AM yes, transmit is great. if you can pay a bit, going with transmit. Otherwise, Cyberduck is still good enough
mackworth 08-02-2006, 08:06 AM If you are a student, you can get Fetch for free. I like it.
batulang 08-09-2006, 12:47 AM Excellent, I just download cyber duck.. it is very useful and userfriendly..
DreamHost-MikeS 08-10-2006, 01:03 AM Cyberduck (http://cyberduck.ch/) is quite a nice app.
I'll second that! When I was previously using a Mac I fell in love with that program. It's about the best that FTP gets for a Mac when you're not interested in paying for a client (can't blame you!).

RossMAN 08-10-2006, 02:22 AM yes, transmit is great. if you can pay a bit, going with transmit. Otherwise, Cyberduck is still good enough
Back in the day (2000) when I had my iMac I loved Transmit.
xyzulu 08-11-2006, 01:31 AM IMHO Cyberduck best free ftp, YummyFTP best paid one.
/me loves Mac!
GP-JT 08-11-2006, 09:16 AM Um, doesn't the mac have ftp built in? I would think it does since the OS is unix, but I've never used one so could be wrong.
altercube 08-13-2006, 02:52 PM I love use cyberduck as well. I also like transmit too, but cyberduck is free lol.
altercube 08-13-2006, 02:54 PM I have not tested it, but I've heard in terminal you can do ftp. Just like you can in a unix command box.
