You can makeuse of filezilla. I believe it is standard one!!

And here is some of the other list http://www.wurd.com/pwp_ftpindex.php.

RBrowser is available for free. You can also purchase a license to unlock more features.

Cyberduck is also free.

And there's always the command-line FTP client that's included with OS X.

I wish I'd known about Cyberduck before I'd paid for Transmit! Still, Transmit has been excellent for the 18 months I've had it.

yes, transmit is great. if you can pay a bit, going with transmit. Otherwise, Cyberduck is still good enough

If you are a student, you can get Fetch for free. I like it.

Cyberduck (http://cyberduck.ch/) is quite a nice app.

I'll second that! When I was previously using a Mac I fell in love with that program. It's about the best that FTP gets for a Mac when you're not interested in paying for a client (can't blame you!).

Back in the day (2000) when I had my iMac I loved Transmit.

Um, doesn't the mac have ftp built in? I would think it does since the OS is unix, but I've never used one so could be wrong.

I have not tested it, but I've heard in terminal you can do ftp. Just like you can in a unix command box.
