I'm just wondering how you guys are going?

Things like number of clients, servers, location, income and how long you've been in the industry?

How many hours you work, staff etc?

I know some people who have setup their own service earn 80k a year with about 10 hours work a month, but they are geniuses so to speak. They also do more advanced things other than general web hosting.

You don't have to post any information you don't want to as I know a lot of people are very reluctant to.

I believe it's good for us to share things with each other, after all we have something in common.

I really doubt you will get anyone to share information. Do a search, the question has been asked 100 times. It normally remains unanswered every time.

I think you'd be hard pressed to find many people here that don't work more than an average work week. In my experience, most people who run their own hosting business put in waay more than 40 hours a week.

Yeah, I personally spend more than 40 hours a week on my business, but that's partly because I want to / enjoy spending time working on it.

The more you put in, the more you get out. I could just work an hour a day but I know I wouldn't have any customers on that..

if you are the top admin, you can be working 50 to 60 hours a week even with admins under you. Those are the hours some of my admins are putting in
I no longer handle any server admin work, or do any support. I just do complaints, hardware aquisition, strategy and larger issues. Yet my plate is pretty full

So i just don't buy anyone being able to get off with 10 hours a month and running a successful business.

I bought my car years ago, after the engine in my old one blew (literally)

Same size as everyone else's, it encompasses only one username, and one password, and only comes with a single account #, and transit #.
