TSP Host 07-30-2006, 11:56 PM You can use PayPal Website Payments Pro integrated into a shopping cart (or if you're a programmer you can work with their API to integrate it into your website) to accept credit card payments on your website. This way, the customer will never have to leave your website to make a payment and the entire payment process, although handled by PayPal, will be transparent to them.
liandra 07-31-2006, 12:03 AM or you can use paypal toolkit created by eBay community codebase.
The url is here :

GP-JT 07-31-2006, 02:01 AM Use to be that a person had to signup to pay with a credit card, but it's nice that PayPal/eBay don't require that anymore. Brings in more business for them probably.
Katatonic 08-01-2006, 03:02 AM Can anyone just tell me, those buttons you make in PayPal, does PayPal keep track of them?
How do I delete ones I've already made?
LemCorp-Nahuel 08-01-2006, 08:04 AM This is a bit off-topic.
But, what is the difference between 2co and Paypal if I can accept credit cards and the client doesn't have to signup for an account?
Thanks.

I would like to know the answer to this one too.
Cheers,
GP-JT 08-01-2006, 08:09 PM I believe with using 2co or another merchant for credit cards, things are a bit more transparent. With PayPal, people signing up would have to visit the paypal site, then return to your site after.
Katatonic 08-02-2006, 02:44 AM You can make PayPal transparent using Credit Cards, however, if paying with PayPal itself (PayPal currency) you have to login with your details.
Otherwise it's pretty much transparent however, only people in the US can use this system.

Do you mean clients in the US? or customers in the US? Are there any similar restrictions on 2co?

I am not sure what you mean over there, i have CA verified business account with paypal and i can use paypal to accept credit cards paypal pro is not available for non - us residents if that is what you were talking about.
Katatonic 08-02-2006, 04:33 AM Yes PayPal Pro is what I'm referring to.
But people have to sign up for PayPal? How many people really want to do that.
It really deterred me at first.
yellowduckie 08-02-2006, 06:20 AM Ok I'm a bit confused by all the options here so:
If I'm based in the UK and want to accept payments from US customers and UK, what is my best option (both transparent "on site" and "off site")?
