Is it possible to get a single computer install for testing cpanel?

I have set up a server on our local network and want to pracise doing all things linux on it before i try to do things on live servers. Can one optain a sort of developer liscense for cpanel? for testing?

..i have looked at the site and it appears from that that the best you can do is a 30 day trial. does anyone here have any suggestions?

Thats kind of like getting a free copy of cpanel. The only thing they offer is the 15-day trial, but I have never heard of a developer license. You could email cpanel directly, they might be able to help you out.

Why do you need cpanel to practice linux? There are other free control panels out there you could use, unless you specifically wanted to learn cpanel.

I guess. I do want to particularly learn cPanel, since, with most/many hosting options it comes bundled, or only at a little extra, and, in my opinion, it is pretty good, so would rather learn with that.

You can buy developer licenses:
