Hi all,

I looked and i looked, but didn't found ASP.NET hosts that was for my needs.
So i was thinking about opening a Hosting Company with main goal to deliver MS .NET Plans.

Question: Is there a market for the technology? and what price should I set on the packages, cuz :
MS SQL SEVER = alot of $$$
and some other MS things = $$$
:)

what do you think?

Thats one thing I looked into and the main thinkg (besides security) that keeps me from running windows.. you put out thousands and thousands of dollars in buggy software and when you go to resell (host) sites you are not going to get much if anything more for hosting.. I think people are waiting to see if it takes off and people glab before they shell out the $$$.

I need to be shure that I will have sign-ups atleast 25 in first month.
Then i will add more features like CF, SSL, PHP, MS SQL-SERVER ($$$) :)

If you are reselling now and are are seeing numbers like this then you can expect it.. If you are popping up out of the blue along with the other 100+ hosts that will prob open the same week as you then I think you are having kind of big expectations.. What I would honestly suggest for which is what I did would be to look for a good reseller plan first with an NT provider and maybe fill up one or two accounts get 50+ customers then once you see things starting to roll for a while go either lease a dedicated server or co-locate one of your own. That might be a good idea for you to consider, Other than that I would suggest not getting excited about a ton of customers rolling in the first week as I have heard of hosts taking a month to get there first customer. Best of luck to you.
