We will soon be launching our company, and rather than slowly building our own knowledge base, it was recommend to us to post here and see if anyone would be willing to share theirs with us.

Is anyone willing to share theirs with us? Depending on the size of the information, we can talk privately about compensation for the information.

If it matters, we will be running RaQ4r's with Webalizer, MySQL, Neomail with Anti-Virus Scanner, and other standard services.

I didn't get the basic idea of creating your own knowledge base.?
Since you're going use "somebody else's" servers for your business, why don't you use that "somebody else's" knowledge base instead ?
If you're meaning as of security, I could give few tips however..
Let me know.

I never said we would be using "someone else's" servers and we are not.

We finished building our own data center just over a month ago, and are just finishing the testing of the new facilities and the new servers.

So, they are our servers and we need a Knowledge Base for common questions/answers that customers being hosted on a RaQ4 would ask. Things like; 1) How do I set up an e-mail alias? 2) How do I forward my e-mail to my hotmail account? etc......

You misunderstood me. I didn't mean some hosting company by saying "somebody else's" I meant Sun Microsystems.
You're going to use RAQ 4's which Sun Microsystem developed. Since they're the creator of this thing, I said, why don't you use Sun's knowledgebase instead, ??

Their knowledgebase is the largest and the most accurate one exist in internet.

Here (http://cobalt-knowledge.sun.com/cgi-bin/kbase.cfg/php/enduser/std_alp.php) is the link

I think what they are looking for is a simple end-user FAQ.
The Sun knowledge base is excellent, but it has too much information.
What they need is a simple 'how do I' type thing for an end user who might not be too technically minded.
Most of us who offer hosting on RAQs or other servers have some kind of knowledge base eg. path names for scripts, simple 'how tos' etc.

Feel free to look at ours, it's rather incomplete...

That's exactly what we are looking for.....I just didn't know how to make it clearer.

Sorry for the confusion.

blackknight - Thanks for your offer...we may use some of that information!
