Hi!
Ideally a tech should have his own domain name. Otherwise everybody would just consider you as just another somebody@nerd.com or geek.com etc...
A better alternative take your own domain name at about $12 per year + hosting for about $40 per year...
I have a site amarjyoti.com. So my friends send it to me as heythere@amarjyoti.com ... :)

I have another friend Jimmy.. His email is jimmy@hellojim.com

It sounds cooler this way.... ;)
Have a great day :)

Regards
Amar

There's always <http://www.mail.com/>. Click "New Member Sign Up" and you'll be presented with a bunch of addies, including @techie.com

I'm thinking of getting a new email too.. any of them do not append advertising taglines at the bottom of your emails? (I dont mind banners/pop ups.. as long as theres nothing added to the bottom of outgoing mail)
