I would imagine that most customers would not pay 3 months ahead of time, so... How do you make a reseller plan that requires a min of 3 mos payment at a time, like Superb has, work to resell accounts? Seems to me that you'd have to pay 3 mos. in advance for every customer, not offer a 30-day guarantee, and you could end up loosing 3 mos. pay for several accts. Anyone ever resold with a 3-mo. min. pay?

This would only work with the naive reseller…like I once was (before finding WHT!). I signed up for an account that was similar. In the end, they were a crummy company and opted for my money back with their 30-day. Funny thing was all the arguments we had, they said politely “we can give your money back if you aren’t satisfied” and when I said fine, give my money back… NO MONEY CAME BACK.

I cannot speak for the company you mention, but a month to month reseller is what I would choose, that way you would not be stuck with 1) trying to get clients to pay for 3 months and 2) paying for 3 months and having your client leave before that time period.

Our parent company is a small hosting provider hosting approximately 1,000 domains.

Over 80% of their customers pay quarterly in advance of services rendered. Approximately 19% pay annually. Only 1% are billed monthly in advance of services rendered.

Over the past seven years (six providing Internet services), the have had only one case where the 30-day money back guarantee was activiated; and a refund was provided.
