They could offer more webspace though for the money, which is our only real complaint. Their uptime is really good for a shared hosting service, as benny-s.com is only down once in a blue moon for a very short time. Once in a blue moon, means like once every 5 months or so.... Their customer support is fabulous though...they answer their support tickets and/or emails in a timely manner. They are worth it for customer service and uptime.....like I said, just wish they offered more for the money. nate 02-22-2003, 11:59 AM Hello all, We actually offer FP 2002 extensions on ALL servers. I am not sure why 'intenshn' got the impression we did not. If any of you have any questions, please let us know, as we would love to here from you. As for not offering enough web space for the money: we have never upped our prices since our launch in 1999. That is something that not many hosting companies can say. We continually upgrade the servers and make sure that all of our clients are satisfied with their connectins and plans. We are actually in the middle of coming out with new plans, which will basically be free upgrades for current clients since we will NOT BE upping the prices. All new clients will enjoy greater storages space and higher bandwidth limits for the same prices listed. Have a good day & we look forward to working with you. intenshn 02-22-2003, 05:13 PM Glad to hear that FP2002 are part of your package....it wasn't for a while when they first came out a year ago becuz you had said there was a problem/bug with it. My non-profit site is currently being hosted by a sponsor, but I hope to bring a new site to your hosts soon.....thanks again! Azaloth 02-22-2003, 05:50 PM I hosted with xeniasystems.com's $25/year 10 gig of space hosting super deal. I bought it almost as a joke just to see how bad it would be (10 gigs of space, 5 gigs of transfer and every perk and extra for $25/year)...and guess what? I am to this day shocked that the service and support I recieved were pretty damn good throughout. It wasn't the fastest server in the world (which is why I'm now hosting with Hostevolve.com) but for that price it was unbelievable that I got a year of pretty solid hosting... Cybersites was a special offer run by Xeniasystems on ebay for a while, not sure if they're still doing it, but if they are it's worth looking in to. Overall I'd say that Xeniasystems is a pretty reliable choice, although if your concerned with speed, I'd recommend Hostevolve.com or any subsidary of www.jaguarpc.com (such as www.aletia.com ). They all use the same datacenter and the speed is fantastic. Hostevolve has wonderful support as well and I know Mike, the owner, he's a really honest guy who provides great support... mindsetdesig 06-22-2003, 01:24 AM So Mr. Stormwire you still around here???..... Do you know anything about XeniaSystems.com or even Dynomitehost.com...??? Have they taken over 300 resellers money and are downloading mp3's on a nice new wireless laptop on some exotic foreign island laughing the whole time...lol Man I sure learned my lesson....lost many customers and one hell'uva a last minute move when they pulled their "Houdini Host Trick".....lol nate 06-23-2003, 02:22 PM still here ... but not sure about the details of those co's .... |
