Hi,

I am looking for reccomendations on which Web Design company you think has the "Best Designed Site". The site you reccommend should have a professional/clean design that would make you feel comfortable to purchase their services. You should also list what it is about the design that makes you feel confident in the company.

I am NOT looking to purchase Web Design, this is more of market research to see what types of layouts/design features would prompt a sale. If you would like to say your own company has the best design, as long as it's not against WHT's rules, go for it.

If you would like to back someone elses post up and agree with them, DO IT.

I am not looking to steal anyone's design. What I would like to do, is take all the best designs, and incorporate features from each to create 1 really good design. In the end, the site I build will be 100% Unique.

Just in case anyone is wondering my ultimate goal behind this... The company I work for sells eCommerce enabled sites. I am their lead web designer.... and while all their clients I have designed for have amazing sites... The company itself has a god-awful ugly site. I would like to introduce a layout/demo to them, that blows them away and prompts them to have me redesign there own site. By doing so, I will be helping myself by helping them get more clients.

FYI.. A little side-note... The company I work for... lands some really big name people in the US. Actors, Actresses, Radio-Talk Show.. TV Talk show hosts... Top fashion designers ect... I feel with a better looking site, they will continue to get these huge projects, which will keep me busy for many years to come.

Carry on :)

I have always liked the look of www.thinkhost.com - the design/layout is quiet different from the run of the mill.

I hate it, they use tables for the layout of the site and the one tone colour scheme is dull.

Couldn't have been done by a professional design company.

Anyway OP wants web designers not hosting companies:

www.ceonex.com << since someone is bound to mention it soon enough

Honestly, I think that whole flash fad is done with... or I hope it is :)

I'd say http://www.equentity.com is easily one of the better design firm websites I've seen. Easy on the eyes, loads damn fast and has useful information. What else could you want?

As mentioned above, Ceonex is also a very nice website.

what about bigbuzz.com which handles only high end clients I like their main spash page but I wish people would stop making 100% flash pages and get back to doing html and css :-)
