Today it was just a bad day for us, the folks at Eryxma, today I have found out that Onlinedatacorp just stoped, well froze our account because it was at "high risk."

Well we have processed over $80,000 with these people, as I know of, and we do some refund here and there, and have only recieved 1 charge back from Discover card.

Now today they just e-mail us that they will stop the bank transactions that were made in the last 5 batches which totals about $7,000 in the past 5 days, and well they are just going to keep that money until they get a $18,000 reserve, THEN we can go ahead and accept orders, for batches go through our bank account.

I mean, this is just a bad buisness practive people, I guess we have lost $7,000+ just from these people, and want $18,000 to keep just on reserve. Everything was going well till today, argh, just a warning to anyone choosing a merchant, don't go with these people.

I don't know what OdiSee is going to do about this, but we do have some other merchants as a backup, but Bluepay from Onlinedatacorp was our main account, now I guess we are going too have to search for a new merchant, our customers money was kept by Onlinedatacorp, not to us, this isn't right.

I might be wrong, some people might have some second opinions.

Although I do not know the whole story, my input would be .. why are they keeping the your current transactions? It would make sense to me for them to send the batches to your bank account and than say "we will not continue to do transactions without a reserve".

I dont understand why they would hold your funds hostage...

I have just been known, they are going to send some batches, but not the last 2, total will just be around 700 bucks, but they said they are going to keep this to start the reserve, we can still use them, but only until we have processed $18,0000. Then they can give us the money.

Well we believe this isn't fair.

We haven't had any chargebacks, and well we just sorry they did this to us.

Can anyone recommend us to a good merchant?

I currently use CardService... But can say they are on the expensive side....

2.35% plus 30 cents a transaction
$10 customer support
$10 secure gateway
$25 min.

I have seen cardservice plans for cheaper than that als well.

I would also suggest going to your bank. They have really good merchant accounts and also you get your money faster in some cases.

I dont think what your current merchant is doing is correct. It should be your choice if you want to send them the reserve to continue processing! They shouldn't be making that descion for you.

Onlinedata did the exact thing to us, with over $10,000 in a batch that we ran, froze it and didnt want to release it.

So i refunded every V/M transaction and went to a new processor.

They also did the same thing to another company that we know of. I suggest staying as far away from this company as possible
