Hey guys, i wasnt sure where to post this. But heres my problem. I have this domain www.peterfoti.com its nothing but content, and a few links. The site has been up 1-2 months, and when you go to google and type www.peterfoti.com however if you type peter foti EVERY website that im affilated with comes up BUT this one. Why is this?

What does the fact that google hasn't indexed your new site yet have to do with being banned?

I have seen many new sites that are few months old and not make it to google yet. It will take time.

Try typing in just peterfoti. I found http://www.webhostingtalk.com/archive/thread/525510-1.html this on the first page of search results.

*Wonders why you need another thread.

You're probably going to take this as an insult -- not intended to be so. Do you have google blocked in a robots.txt file by accident?

I assume your site is very new and probably in sandbox.

Add some google ads on it, because they give priority to their customers

Also try to get good inbond links from good PR sites and directories, I hope it will too help you.

Hmmm... honestly, like monzuck, don't take this as an insalt, but did you submit it? Some hosts will do it for you, but if they didn't you need to do it yourself.

Actually, I read somewhere that it's sometimes better not to submit your site, and to instead have Google find it on it's own. I started a blog a couple of months ago, and someone linked to it, and it suddenly gained a Pr of 3... :erm:

Ive got a similar problem with one of my newish sites www.dietdebate.co.uk - it was originaly showing up under the search term 'dietdebate' in google... but recently it has disappeared completely. Not entirely sure if ive been sandboxed (which is likely because of the competitiveness of the word 'diet' or if ive been banned. Ill leave it a month or so and see if it reappears. No idea what ive done if i have actually been banned!
