99c per week for 75Mb? That works out at just under $50 doesnt it?

We currently offer 100Mb for $14.50 per year, but I would be happy to offer 75Mb for $47.52/year if you like! :stickout

So, $9.99 setup plus $11.98 per year for 5Mb, or $14.50 per year for 100Mb, I know which one I would choose! ;)

Also, no mention of whether they have Cpanel4, we do :D

99¢ x 52 weeks ≠ $47.52

however, 99¢ x 4 weeks/month x 12 months/year = $47.52

On the 99centhost page they work out the price using the 4 weeks x 12 months example, making it $47.52 per year

99¢ hosts need to go back to 3rd grade then.

Heh :D

These days, some hosts are still in 3rd grade ;)

Why is Rackshack taking over the world?

It's another Rackshack server...

I must ask you...
How the hell do you make money?

You can't have a business when clients are paying barely $1.00 a month. Your costs are more than that. This doesn't make sense.

Hi DutchSchultz,

We would be happy to match CyberWings prices, e-mail me at jerome@valcato.com if you would wish to take this up.

Geiger - I get asked this a lot! The fact is, we used to be a premium host with premium prices, now we're a premium host with low prices, why? Because we worked out that lots of happy customers paying us a small amount would still make more money than a few satisfied customers paying a large amount!

Rackshack has raised their prices on servers. Once this server is maxed out they can't get another one for the same price. And in the first place, they aren't making a lot of money. You can't exept good support and quality service when they're making like no profit in the first place.

None of this defines "premium host" in my mind.

I'll give you this much - going to a paid model is at least a step up.

MWatkins, Thanks for saving everyone the trouble of doing a whois on "www.asp2.net".

Our hosting site is at http://www.valcato.com, asp2.net is a free hosting service which has been messed around by a certain application vendor who sold us a management system which bascially doesnt work. Also, the certain company doesnt answer phones or e-mails...
