I've just registered 4 domains through an eNom reseller. They:

1. Provided five (5) nameservers, every one of them in a different subnet. Nobody else (meaning registrars) does that, at least that I know of.

2. Locked my domain, so it's unlikely to be hijacked. Again, nobody does this for free.

3. Let me modify DNS records, such as adding an MX, an A...

4. Let me configure web and email forwarding.

Now talk about reliability and security!

(PS: Not that this is really important, but I felt I had made a good deal for only $7.99 / domain, so I thought I had to spread the word...)

What's the URL of your enom reseller? The one I found charges $14.95/year per domain.

www.powerpipe.com (http://www.powerpipe.com)

Their website looks crappy, but they seem to be serious and the whole proccess was fast.

Thanks! Powerpipe looks OK, but early this morning, I decided to go with namecheap.com, which had a lot of good recommendations here. It costs $8.88 per domain.

They are also eNom resellers, so you'll have the same advantages with them :)

I really like the idea of using enom.com's 5 name servers, but I'm not clear on how it works. I'm going to post a separate thread on that topic, in the hope that more people will see it.
