UmBillyCord 06-04-2002, 03:25 PM They were bought buy Interland...they seem to have money. skylab 06-04-2002, 03:42 PM they have a few $0 setup servers also. but, i mean, with 32mb ram and 5gb bandwidth for $50 a month and so forth. http://www.communitech.net/products/dedicated/specials/ Chicken 06-04-2002, 07:19 PM Being curious, I chatted with a nice gentleman named Lenny. I figured that 5-10GB wasn't all that much for a dedicated server so I wondered what the overage cost was. Buck a gig (not too shabby), steps of 20 (so if you start at 5GB, you'd move up to 20 - $15 extra, and if you started at 10, you'd still move up to 20 - $10 extra, etc.) Guy I spoke with: Lenny.Hihath @ CommuniTech.Net MDesigner 06-04-2002, 07:30 PM This is just the first month, right? Lol, I would love it if it wasn't. I've been wanting to get a real dedicated server for a long time but at my age, I can't afford it. I just hope cox allows servers sometimes on their cable. Anyone know of a P1-75 w/ 16Mb and 5Gb of b/w, lol! I have Cox Business service and they allow a server if you have 2 IP's. x86brandon 06-06-2002, 11:21 PM Yet another company assimilated by the InterLand collective  |
