I have a network of about 30 pcs, and I am seeing a rather odd procedure. For a few of my pcs I save custom print settings (printers and faxes->find the printer->preferances->add change custom setting. I apply the custom print settings here, apply, and then save. However ALL the time sometimes within mintues somtimes hours they are always deleted and have to be manually created again. These printers are on a print server, and I have re-intalled the driver to make sure that was not an issue. All the pcs have XP pro, and the software on the print server is 2003. Any ideas or suggestions to get these setting to stick. They had worked fine until about a month ago, no security or upgrades in that frame. Any ideas would be great...
