i get that error when i use perldesk, any suggestions?

did you try to recompile Apache with suEXEC enabled recently?

It could be several things that could be wrong with your installation of PerlDesk. Try looking in the Apache error log for some clues.

Have you installed all the modules needed for PerlDesk? Did you upload in ASCII mode for the cgi scripts?.. etc :).

It might be an error in chmod, there's so many files there's always a chance you forgot to chmod something.

CHMOD 755 the directories and files
