Hi

I would like to know how to set subdomain on Plesk? I would like to creare http://subdomain.tld.com and direct it to http://www.tld.com/subdomain.

I have read about it in this forum but i forgot in what channel i read about it.

So if someone knows how, please reply this msg and thank you

Well you can do it the hard way or the easy way. The easy way will use one of the domains in the plesk license.

I won't go into the hard way now (although I'm sure someone will) but the easy way is simply to add a domain in plesk and type subdomain.domain.com as the new domain.

Then in the hosting options set it as a forwarder.

1)set-up your tld.com as normal way, then add a A recored for the subdomain in the DNS section with server IP

2) create subdomain.tld.com as a normal account. then in the hosting section you put the http://www.tld.com/subdomain

all done now.

but as Rich2k said you use a pleask domain if you have limited domain license. if you use unlimited domain license then dont worry about this.

NightMan forgot to mention to click Standard (or framed forward instead of physical hosting) ;)
