My partner and I have been working on opening a new Adult Web Hosting company for some time now. We feel we have a very good business plan and have been progressing well in getting ready for opening in the future. However, at this point we have ran into a slight problem. We have been trying to select a payment gateway/merchant company to use for doing CC billing, etc. To our surprise most companies will not offer their gateway services to a hosting company that specializes in Adult Web Hosting.

There are many other Adult Specialized Web Hosts in operation, so I know they have found a gateway service to use. Yet though, we haven't heard of which ones they might use. Does anyone have any suggestions of a gateway/merchant service that would be interested in a business model such as ours?

Instabill (http://instabill.com) promises to be a good merchant account for Adult merchants. You should try them out. Also, search the forums for 'instabill' to get reviews.

Most businesses that deal with adult in any way, shape or form have moved to offshore merchant account simply because the international regulations for V and MC are much less stringent than Visa US.

Best thing you can do is search on this forum. There are a number of posts with great information.
