I'd like to know whether its possible to verify a Paypal account for an Indian citizen who doesn't own a credit card. I only have a Maestro Debit Card which is not accepted by Paypal for verification.

My Paypal account transfer limit of 100USD is over and I can no more send funds to anyone using my Paypal account unless I verify it.

If anyone is providing such a service please let me know.

I don't want a reloadable card, just one that is sure to work with Paypal verification. I can pay using StormPay.

If any Indian has verified his/her Paypal account with a virtual cc please let me know, it will really help loads.

Thanks

you can try to call your bank for a debit card that can use for online transaction.Or get a US bank account to verify your account but seem it is not a good suggestion

I had same problem from China with the debit card. I can't even add funds to my account with a transfer from outside the US. To find another solution seems as the best option for people outside the US!

Are there any reliable virtual card vendors which will definitely work with paypal. Entropay doesn't let me signup, it says signups are closed. So if theres an alternative which works please let me know.

And no, the bank doesn't issue debit cards of MasterCard/Visa only Maestro.

I tried to add my epassporte virtual visa credit card to my Indian Paypal account and it was not accepted. My HDFC bank visa electron debit card was not accepted. But my ICICI Bank credit card was added without any problem and so was citibank credit card.

So it sounds like you have to have a credit card from bank in the country in which you live.

Paypal accepts Credit Cards as of the Originating country with which the account has been registered. For example, a email id registered with India, will have to have indian credit card to work.

Please do share, which country address you gave for entropay credit card?

Virtual CCs never work with PayPal. You need a standard Visa or Master Card to get your PayPal account verified.

Don't bother verifying your PayPal account with a pre-loaded or disposable card. You'll just get it locked up.

So is there no way to verify my paypal account using a virtual card that actually works?

Please leave links to the Virtual Cards you're referring to, link to the registration page if possible...

If someone can verify my paypal account for me, either PM me or post here with your price.
