View Full Version : reseller hosting
ukr66web 07-17-2006, 07:18 PM Hi there. This is my first time posting here, since I figured this would be the best place to ask.
I'm looking for a good reseller hosting that is cheap and reliable.
Disk space: 2000mb linux and 2000mb windows
Bandwith: 50-100gb
CPanel
Unlimited domains
Unlimited subdomains
Supports PHP, SSI, CGI, Perl, etc.
99.9% uptime
Oh, and there is a cheap reseller hosting at iiPanel Webhosting. But since I know nobody using their services, I don't know how good they are. Can anybody shed some light?

Please and thank you.
cPanel is still in the very early beta stages for the Windows platform, so if you want to use only cPanel, I'm afraid you'll have to stick with linux only.
You can go with a H-Sphere provider to offer dual platform solutions, or mix it up with cPanel for linux, and Plesk/Helm/etc..for Windows.
HostTitan 07-17-2006, 08:06 PM What's your budget like and any preference as to where your servers should be located? With more information, there are plenty of good recommendations we can provide.

Duport 07-17-2006, 08:49 PM You are looking at around $12 per month with your budget in mind or $15 plans if you are paying in advance. I can't see why you can't find a reseller have you looked in the offers section? Select a few and contact those you like maybe they can help you more.
ukr66web 07-17-2006, 10:07 PM my choice for linux server is budget reseller.com
now i dont know good and cheap company for windows server.
premium20 07-18-2006, 03:21 AM Well, as far as your choice for linux, I am sure you will have a good time with BR. Maybe, you should come back and let us know about your experience with BR.
For Windows, I guess you might want to narrow down potential hosts on the basis of control panel. Are you looking for Helm/Plesk or something else?
Shock Hosts 07-18-2006, 04:17 AM Never heard of that specific company. Try out resellerzoom.com or hostgator.com
ukr66web 07-18-2006, 11:53 AM please help me
hostgator.com or resellerzoom.com or budgetreseller.com
???????????????????
HDCraig 07-18-2006, 01:30 PM Out of the above I would say HostGator due to the many many happy clients they have (from reviews). Use the search button on WHT to find reviews on the above hosts, once your happy quiz the host with many questions, this will give you an idea on how fast there response times are & the quality of the hosts sales/support.
Goodluck
ldcdc 07-18-2006, 03:27 PM 99.9% uptimeThe uptime guarantee is virtually meaningless. Take a look at the details in the TOS or SLA and imagine a scenario where the server would be down for 24 hours. Would the refund/credit make you happy again? I doubt it. What you want is the uptime (a great uptime history as witnessed by customers), not a monetary guarantee.
hostgator.com or resellerzoom.com or budgetreseller.comDo you want "overselling enabled" for resellers? I know that some resellers are quite adamant about it. Hostgator doesn't have it, Resellerzoom does, and... I don't know about Budgetreseller. You'll have to ask.
Jazzy Host 07-18-2006, 09:07 PM I'd say you can find a great cpanel/whm host, but I would recomend going with unix/cpanel combo since its more stable. Also I would recomend going with a host that doesnt allow it to get the best service for your buck. Hope this helps...

To clarify, you're looking for two different accounts with 2GB on a Linux platform and 2GB on a Windows platform? How are you looking to have the bandwidth split up?

cartika-andrew 07-19-2006, 03:37 PM cheap and reliable.
Not sure that exists, especially for $12/month
Disk space: 2000mb linux and 2000mb windows
If you need linux and windows from a central location I believe your only options are hsphere and plesk.
if you want 2 different providers, I am not certain you can find a reliable windows reseller provider for that budget - possibly will get something decent with linux
CyberHostPro 07-19-2006, 04:38 PM Hi
i would recommend looking at a single provider who can offer you both O/S. Do you want a single control panel like Hsphere or would you like seperate control panels e.g. one for linux and one for windows to keep them seperate?
