Hi,

What do you all think of this? I had x_lil_havok_x@hotmail.com trying to show me his work by showing me

http://www.unleeched.com/index2.html

To me its looks a copy off

www.ePixelMedia.com

What do you think? I am sick of these rip of artists giving web designers a bad name

seeing that Vpro has not directly stolen any images from the first site, it is not a rip. A rip is when an image is taken directly from the persons site without permisson and posting as there own work.

1) The navigation bar... NOT a rip. The tutorial has been posted all over the web and was first see @ apple.com. A tutorial for the tab can be fond here: http://robouk.mchost.com/tuts/tutorial.php?tutorial=plastictabs

2) Perhaps the most distinctive common thing about the 2 sites is the computer. If you examine carefully, the computers are different. And the computer is just a stock photo from apple.com and can be found here: http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore.woa/184/wo/Xqg2Z0kkOOV77fTsdl2/0.3.0.3.30.21.0.1.3.1.3.1.1.0?126,69

So no i do not think it is a rip, although the to sites layout and designs are very similar, no copyright rules have been broken.

...yes, it is the same person. Was there anything there that hinted i wasnt the same person? I was just laying out the bare facts. Is there a problem with that?

Jesus christ..
That is one hello of a cheap copy of our website.
Are you supposed to be a webdesigner?
As you used tutorials to manage a half cheap, low cost website like that, that doesnt even work, you should really think twice before getting into the webdesign business. It is not as it was for five years ago... easy to trick customers. Today's business demands creativity, knowledge with a wide basis. heh.. when you said you used tutorials to manage to make that site, I laughed so hard, my stomache hurt.
