I have a to register a domain name, to test out a control panel, and I can't think of anything good. I am always threatening my wife by telling her I am going to register hotnakedallan.com and put up a porno site, but I can't do that in this case :D.

Any suggestions?

Is this for a control panel? I have thecp.com and you can borrow it for a short time if you just need something to test with.

No plans...that's why I am looking for ideas. I don't want to just blow $35, so I don't want to use crap letters...so I want something that might be useful. I was thinking about jumping on the security bandwagon and registering hostsec.com, but then I might really be tempted to do something with it :D.

If you like hostsec.com you might also like hostops.com.

No no no...Out Of Retirement just means that I am no longer on Sabbatical because my book is finished :D. I have found that it is much more profitable to have other hosts pay me to stay out of the business :D (Robert Marsh writes me a check for $2000 a month, just to not start a hosting company, I get $1500 from RackMY.com and $2500 from Charles Baker ;)).

uh...well...actually you can get a domain name for quite a bit less than the $35 you mentioned.
