Can anyone give me reliable whois sever names for

You need to register into the forums before that link is available to you.

com, net - leave it blank
biz - whois.biz
org - whois.publicinterestregistry.net (might want to check, I think it was slated to go defunct)
ca - whois.cira.ca

simply go to www.dnsstuff.com , check whois for any domain and it tell you the whois server first just at the top of whois output.
