View Full Version : Lakers/Nets, who wins?
dgessler 06-03-2002, 06:41 PM Any nba fans here? :D Who does everyone think will win the championship (starting wednesday)? I'm for the nets (now since sacramento lost), Lakers need to loose this year! :kaioken:
:uzi: [Kobe] [Shaq]
Justin S 06-03-2002, 06:49 PM I HATE the Lakers! I was completely and utterly pissed when they beat the Kings last night, as I was all for the Kings winning, then crushing the Nets. But now that they're out, I'm for the Nets beating the Lakers.
dragonhawk 06-03-2002, 09:55 PM Why do people hate the Lakers so much... I think the Lakers will win but I want the Nets to win, just coz their style of play is more interesting than the Lakers... :stickout
Martie 06-03-2002, 10:05 PM Arrrrgggh!! I had been pullin for the Kings....they are really a great team (had to choose them since our Spurs didnt make it)
Overall though if you watched this last series BY FAR the KINGS should have won it (so many calls in favor of the Lakers it was pathetic and just not fair!!)
My vote goes for NETS here.

Anywho, I say bring out the brooms cuz I smell a sweep comin' up.
Really now, who do they even have to thow at Shaq? McCullough? Haha
MadSkilage 06-03-2002, 10:39 PM A sweep? Surely you jest...Kidd is gonna run all over the Lakers
iamdave 06-03-2002, 11:14 PM Lakers are going to win. Back to back to back. :stickout

Nets win though.
If not for poor free-throw shooting by the Kings, Lakers wouldn't even be there.
Nets win.

please. Give it up! ROFL! Maybe you didnt watch this series. I will agree last night Kings did terrible with their free throws, but I think you will find lots of people with the opinion that KINGS had the win before last nights games IF the refs would have made the proper calls.....as Im typing this now they are talking about this on the Late show......REFS calls.....hehe.
Here ya go...interesting read :D

Oh wait... thats hockey - the under dogs...
hmm, then... GO NETS GO NETS GO NETS!
Hmmm... the question was posed "who do you think will win?" but I can't help but think, based on the healthy Nets lead in the poll right now, that most people are answering "who do you want to win?" Either that, or most people haven't watched the NBA much lately! :)
I think it'll be the Lakers; I hope it'll be the Nets.

Michael M 06-04-2002, 08:45 AM New Jersey sucks at everything. And it's about time we win something besides living off New York's glory. So who I think, and want to win, is of course the Nets. Jason Kidd is just to dominent.
Oh and BTW, I realize NJ won a few stanley cups. But I hate Hockey, so that doesn't count.
Angel78 06-04-2002, 01:28 PM Lakers win by 4:2. :)
