I'd like to know whether anyone has had the chance of using EasyPSA (http://www.easypsa.com). What's your experience using it? Have you ever had any problems? How is their support? etc... I gues you get the idea.

Thanks.

$699!!!! Wow they must be charging for the programming of new scripts for each server. LOL Plesk took me 1 hour to configure completely. (Install and configure all ex. DNS) ModernBill took around 15 min to install then around 30 min to configure.

I don't think they should be charging that much for it. But who knows. Everyone has their own biz plan. Good Luck to them

Thanks

yeah i know it's expensive. it'll choke those small operating hosters. does it do what it's supposed to do, or does it just look good?

I went to look at the easyPSA (http://www.easypsa.com) site and noticed that their site says they are launching soon. Has anyone seen what it does, or how it works, or when they are launching?

I also heard a rumor that the pricing is not going to be as severe as thought.

I remember they were using ModernBill and Plesk and installing both for a heafty price tag.

Wonder if they used ModernBill as the base code for their billing system.

Hope not, not sure if that is legal? Guess we have to wait and see?

I highly doubt they did anything without written approval from the two companies.

You never know now-a-days though.

Yeah, won't be so cool if you buy a product without the proper approval, then your software is revoked because of copyright laws.

Guess we have to wait and see...

I really think they are smarter than that. I think what EasyPSA does (my opinion here) is code that integrates the two products to work together instead of:

1. Plesk with no billing

2. ModernBill with no hosting automation.

So I think EasyPSA = Plesk + Automated Signups + ModernBill.

There's a little confusion here we'd like to get cleared up.

When we first developed easyPSA we configured it to use ModernBill as it's billing system. We launched very soon after we'd developed the product, and we launched at a price which was outside the reach of the smaller hosting companies.

We listened to what people were saying about the product, then we pulled it off the market and re-wrote it from the ground up.

The new version does not use ModernBill in any way, shape or form. We have written our own billing software which is at the heart of easyPSA.

There are a heap of other improvements we made along the way. For obvious reasons these cannot be discussed in this forum.

We plan to launch very soon. All I can say at this stage is wait and see. We know you're going to love it.

Finally a signup script that works great with Plesk. I love to be able to go on Vacation and not have to worry if I need to manually add a client to Plesk. Once payment is approved the client is automatically added to Plesk. easyPSA tech support has been excellent. I had a few problems getting the script to install and their Tech Support helped me get it all working. I recommend trying out the demo on their site.
