BTW: I can't see why anyone would vote Rackspace, since they are expensive, but guarantee a LOT of uptime (and I can't see any reason at all why you would need a guarantee for personal use) ... utadmin 06-03-2002, 04:12 PM i like rackFAST .. but i'm not sure i forgot to put Nocster ... what do u think of them  diederik 06-03-2002, 05:42 PM My vote goes to WebReseller.... Service & speed has been great so far ... panopticon 06-03-2002, 06:41 PM I voted for Rackshack - very good values, quick setup times, and low prices. At first the fact that they do not offer an uptime gaurantee bothered me, but then again, I prefer them being honest to offering a fake uptime gaurantee like the 100% uptime gaurantee eservers.biz (dv2 partners) offers but then does not actually deliver on when there is downtime (calling emergency downtime "scheduled maintenance" when it in fact was not scheduled for when the outage occurred...) Anyway, since I've been with rackshack their network has had 100% uptime, at least as verified by 4 external free monitoring services (which only monitor every 30-60 minutes) and my own observations. panopticon 06-03-2002, 06:44 PM forgot to put Nocster ... what do u think of them Hard to say since they've only been operating for 3 days :) Not sure how separate the nocster network is from the burst network (web site seems to indicate everythign) and in that case only time will tell if they have a great setup or if there will be any problems. No phone support - not sure if that is an issue for you. Great prices, some nice hardware options (SCSI on a $99/month server - nice!) and great prices on CPanel licenses at $19.99/month. |
