Thank you for taking the time to visit the auction. I am sorry that you do not like reserve auction, unfortunately it is sometimes difficult to get a fair price on ebay without it.
If anyone is interested in buying server exactly like the one I have up for auction right now please email me at dbrown@practicalrealestate.com or call 716-652-0088
Thanks,
Dennis

My problem is, if there is a reserve, why not set the price starting there.

To each there own. Most bidders understand that the auction starting price is below the eserve to attract bidders and generate an audience. Once the audience has seen the product, that audience will determine price. If the auction then meets or exceeds the reserve then it was worth it for that audience. If it does not meet the reserve then it was not worth it to that audience.
Please take a look at the auction and if you still want a server and are not interested in bidding then contact me and I will be glad to discuss other options to purchase.

Ohhh, and you may have *ummm* seen the thread I started about auctions. It wasn't meant to be about yours. I like the server, and am sure it is worth it and all, I just didn't get teh general gist of the auction thing, as I'm only really familiar with the off-line variety. I've never auctioned off anything or bought on an on-line auction myself...
my my my that was OT. sorry..
