I need some help to find out a hosting company whose Server API is Apache not CGI.
I'm currently using ResellerZoom, and HostGator.
My budget is between $20 and $50 and prefer for unlimited.
Of couse, I'm looking for a company reliable with good service.

Experienced with Resellerzoom is good but not excellent. Once, the server is down and took serveral hours to back up without my own back up. And curSSL wasn't complied and my client has really hard time.

HostGator uses CGI but the sale got me the wrong information telling me their Server API is on Apache but wasn't.

Any help will be appreciated.

Are you referring to the API used by PHP?

Why do you need API? I havent seen a single package that couldn't be run in CGI.

I have a web program which should run on Apache server not CGI.
When you do phpinfo(); the server API value is CGI, then the package wouldn't behave the way it should be.
I have couple bad experience with Resellerzoom because their php run in CGI.
I just want to make sure that pure Linxu with Server API is apache not CGI.
sorry about any confusion.

John.
