After i delete the a folder using the file manager in the cpanel, i need to empty the trash so as to get rid of the files completely. But the server does not allow me to empty the trash (actually only one folder, the rest are able to remove). it says no permission. i chmod all the sub-folder to 777 but still cannot.
anyone can help ?

Most likely that folder you trashed was created by a script and is set to the user nobody. Your host will have to change the usergroup back to your accounts userid so you can delete it or they will probably just delete it for you. So you should bring this up with your host... it's an easy fix, can be done in a matter of seconds. :D
