To anyone who is interested. I came across this site on my surfing travels today. www.namees.com

I have no affiliation with them. I have not checked them out. I don't recommend them. It's up to you to do your own research on them.

Hmm... let's see. $0.81 times 10,000 domains. That's $8,100/yr. With that saving, we could afford our own $6.95 ETP at eNom :)

Maybe they make so much money from their parking activities, they're giving something back to the community :)

Bashar. You know it's easy to move your domains to another eNom reseller if you are disatisfied with your current reseller, for whatever reason.

actually $8.14 is the lowest eNom retail price...
$8.95 is the lowest reseller price...

I've been creating over 40 retail accounts with $8.14 /yr price on my eNom account for a while

but If you create a retail account, you (as an ETP) will get charge for the Credit card transaction (3% + 0.30cents - IMHO) ..
so, you really don't make a lot of money, if you have a $6.95 ETP account

If you make an $8.95 sub reseller account as an eNom ETP at $6.95 you make $2 commission per domain.

If you make a $8.14 sub-retail you make $0. That's the diff.

Why would you do that? Or were they for real people?

Don't you get charged the 3% + $0.30?

8.95 reseller account u get pure $2 per domain
8.14 retail account you get $0 per domain (8.14 * 3 / 100 + $0.95) = 1.1942 + 6.95 = 8.14

:)

no because when the reseller refills he is charged %3 not the ETP

Why would you do that? Or were they for real people?
account created mostly for my friends, and some people I met on forum / mailing lists.
I guess I'm just too generous heheheh :gthumb:
oh well, to be honest some of the retail account are $8.50/yr one...

and, I heard if you're an ETP and have a good business with enom, enom will probably promote you someday...by lowering your prices, etc...

btw, before I gave a retail account, I usually tell people that they won't get any support from me.

I think this is just plain wrong. You just *MUST* give at least *SOME* support (credit card billed, but account wasn't credited; inbound transfer is finished, but domain isn't in my account; - that type of questions).

Of course, choice belongs to your 'customers'.

eNom expect you to support your customers beneath you. It must be in their ToS.

Well you need to do this first :

All accounts with 10 or more domains in it will be upgraded from retail to resellers !

So get 10 domains first from them and you become reseller i assume

I didn't know about this... but I tried to give a support if it's possible, sometime I just told them to check out eNom knowledge base, as you can find most of your solution there.
btw, I give full support to all my reseller, though...

Just to shed some light:
It is mine, it is Enom's PDQ . $8.14 is lowest possible pricing can be given for retail account. Main reason I've done it is people from DNforum can open cheap Enom accounts. Also I am selling domains often so I can simply let buyer open account there and push it. Account created on namees.com will work for login on enom.com -> it can not be any scam.
