I have been considering taking out a reseller package and have been considering donHost - until I searched for them in this forum and found a lot of negative vibes.

I represent a large organisation and need a reseller package, pref UK based, that offers UNIX and WINDOWS packages, and expect the majority of our clients to stick to static sites, though we do need to give them the option of php, asp, mySQL and Access.

What are your recommendations?

Your right to look elsewhere for your resellers account. Donhost have a habit of deleting accounts, however and whenever they wish. (Most of time, without even informing there reseller)

You will likely find both the best availability and price if you purchase two seperate plans (one linux/unix based, and the other windows based). Most firms specialize in one, in my experience.

Good luck,

think you might be right there, and trying to find UK based servers with sufficient bandwidth is nigh on impossible.

I think your best bet would be to deal with a UK company with US based servers if you need a resonable amount of bandwidth at a competitive price.

Try UKName.net (http://www.ukname.net/), Voxtreme (http://www.voxtreme.com/) and SplashHost (http://www.splashhost.com/). UK/Ireland based, servers in the US. All companies have great support & service.
