When you set-up your payee account with Godaddy, under PAYEEE ACCOUNTS, they have information regarding taxes under “Foreign Payee” and “Tax Information” indicating that certain forms are required to be completed.
I live in Canada and am not sure if we are required to complete a form, and if so which on (there are approx 3 forms). One form says "Do not use this form if you are US citizens, yet in the form it ask for SSN, another one says "Persons submitting this form must file an annual US income tax return". I emailed Godaddy and they told me to contact the IRS. Uuummm
I guess I could do that but why wouldn’t they provide the answer to that question since they are providing the service – that way their customers wouldn’t have to go all over the place searching for information.
Your feedback is appreciated. Thanks!
