Hi,

I have picked up a new domain name and supplied the isp with the name servers from my existing domain name. I then added the new domain name using cpanel and then redirected it to the existing so that:

domain2.eu -> domain1.au

Checking the directories at domain1 shows that the domain directory was added and that a redirection is in htaccess

I checked the whois of domain2 to see if the isp updated the nameservers and they did but I still can't ping or see domain2 after 48 hours.

Am I missing something here?

Sorry, slight burnt out brain. Of course, I mean the registrar.

Funny thing, I sent a ticket to my host and they tell me that I should not have declared it as an addon domain but as an addon sub-domain.

Since you are using your domain2 to redirect to the main domain1. You can then very well use the domain2 as park domain instead of addon domain.
