I've recently bought a VPS and i'm moving from a webhost.
My domain is registred separately and i want to point it to my new server.
What nameservers should I use, and how to proceed step by step please.

1. Make sure you have DNS software (BIND, tinydns, etc) installed (most VPS do have that by default);
2. Add your domain(s) to your account using whatever control panel you have;
3. Change nameservers for those domain(s) at your registrar.

To give you step-by-step instructions, we need to know at least the control panel you're using.

thanks, it sorted now, i had to wait 12h that new nameserver takes effect.
