Hi,
I found this Registrar EuropeRegistry, I couldn't find any reviews on them. Does anyone know how good they are? Has anyone had any bad experiences with them.
Many thanks.

Have you googled them? I've tried and there wasn't no one at least moderately good review about the company.
Good luck!

hi stan, thats the first thing i tried, i didnt find any reviews positive or negative, maybe i'm not good with google ;-).
i found them attractive as they provide a wide range of European tld's & are relatively cheap. but wanted to be sure there are no major problems with them before i use them.

http://www.google.com/search?q=europeregistry
I've seen only the links with problems people are encountering while using them. At least in sites in English, returned for above search.
About being 'relatively cheap'. I can't speak about other ccTLDs, but I've registered .it (Italy) ccTLD for EUR6.49 at aruba.it 8 months ago. Europeregistry is asking EUR39.00. That's more than 6 times (!!!) more. Are you calling this 'relatively cheap'?

hi stan,
many thanks for your feedback.
ha ha, well as a newbie, i guess am allowed to make few mistakes ;-).
i compared for .eu & .de, for those two tld's europe registry were among the cheapest i cud find, so i extrapolated & thot others would also be equally cheap. but i was wrong!
i was looking for a registrar, which would also allow me to use their contact details to register in different european countries as many TLD's are restricted. any suggestions? joker.com seems to provide only .eu & .de
thanks once again for your feedback.

Hi Tornado 54
I registered a domain with Europe Registry and then decided to host my site with them. They are not replying to my email messages and I can't get my site to load. Based on a month's experience iwth them I would not recommend them.

Europe Registry is a Instra company, they are an Australian company. There are many problems with support. You can check Posts in Domain Name Forums like dnforum.com.

Why are you seeking for someone with bad experience? In any case I suppoe by doing your own search by their domain name you will be able to find a lot of information about them

I had used Instra.com for a few years. What is good about them is that they have a local line connection in a number of countries. Call that line and you will be connected to an operator.
Their prices varies depends on which Instra site you go to. For example Europe Registry has european domains at very competitive rates, moreover with a local presence thrown in (i do not know if it is free).
If you wish to register asian domains, consider instra.com. The prices are more reasonable.
Their response is reasonably fast.
But I had not been with them for a couple of years. So I do not know if their service level had improved or deterioriated.

Beaware of aruba.it, they are very cheap, but they are terrible. They won't let you transfer the domain unless filling up paper forms. Moreover they lock completely the domain out 15 days before experitaion without even telling you.
I had the worst domain registrat experience of my life.
