any recommend on which shell/telnet program to use (for windows) to access my account which sits on a unix host? i need to chmod a lot of files. thank you!

I would strongly recommend Putty - just search for it on Google to find it. It's free and it's great!

I've never had a problem with puTTY. Awesome software. A lot like Microsoft Office... ;) Easy to learn how to use the basic features, but when you need something advanced, its there for ya. :)

Putty, CRT, or SecureCRT .. I use SecureCRT.

i use securecrt for home , and carry putty on a disk when im out doing misc computer stuff , although putty's price cant be beat =]
