Andyc 06-01-2002, 12:23 PM I inquired about a month ago. They said between $4000 and $5000 for a site like Fastwebsites or Dominet and $25000 plus for a site like HostRocket. viGeek 06-01-2002, 01:54 PM Originally posted by Andyc $25000 plus for a site like HostRocket. WOW utadmin 06-01-2002, 02:04 PM Yes But i believe that for them its worth every penny or cent :) HostRocket / RackFAST site is a very nice looking site ... i'm sure there clients and potential clients think so too ..... also the packages are sweet :) fractiousws 06-01-2002, 03:34 PM To tell you the truth... I like FastWebsites design way more than HostRockets. I never really did like that design. iamdave 06-01-2002, 04:10 PM I do not see the major difference between hostrocket and fastwebsites. Both sites are nice and professional, however, I fail to see why one costs $20,000 more than the other. If anyone does, please enlighten me. cabalstudios 06-01-2002, 07:02 PM Originally posted by iamdave I do not see the major difference between hostrocket and fastwebsites. Brendon(hostrocket), correct me if i'm wrong, but i think they also coded a back-end of hostrocket site.... iamdave 06-01-2002, 07:18 PM Originally posted by cabalstudios Brendon(hostrocket), correct me if i'm wrong, but i think they also coded a back-end of hostrocket site.... That might explain it. BrianF 06-01-2002, 07:58 PM I contacted PixelBrick and was told hostrocket's site cost 40k. --Brian cabalstudios 06-01-2002, 08:00 PM Originally posted by BrianF I contacted PixelBrick and was told hostrocket's site cost 40k. --Brian Yes, that included the back-end that pixelbrick coded :D Shyne 06-02-2002, 12:50 AM They are just releasing the amount of money their client paid them? heh. FDrive 06-02-2002, 01:32 AM Originally posted by Shyne They are just releasing the amount of money their client paid them? heh. My thoughts exactly. That's a little weird. Anyway, $4k, $5k, $40k... it may seem like a lot, but PixelBrick is one of the best there is. The price tags are completely understandable. Chicken 06-02-2002, 04:05 AM My guess is he said, "How much does a site like this cost?" -not "How much did this company pay you..." -could be wrong of course... |
