First time poster here.

Does anyone have experience with or knowledge on web host Rhyton?

I (as a webdesigner) recently signed a client who is currently hosted with them and has tried to contact them through the only method they provide - email - with no success. I have tried to contact them as well, with the same results (personally I would never do business with a company that doesn't provide a phone#).

I would also like to know your opinions on the following:

Since Rhyton hasn't responded to emails, would it be ethical for me to contact them through a phone number listed in their whois info? Would you do this?

If you can't get through to them any other way then you should definately call them on that number. Otherwise you may never get a response from them...

Most web hosting companies provide an emergency number that you can contact at any time. If I was in your position and my site was down, and I could not reach them any other way, I would certainly use that number on the whois information. I would not think the web hosting company would mind, because your site has been down or having problems.
