For some reason, my FTP client only shows files up to number 339. I have a lot of image files that range from 1 to 445. For some reason, three of my FTP software programs only show from 1 to number 339. Is there a reason why my software does not show numbers 340 to 445?

I cannot understand why all of the files do not appear...is there a limit to the number of files that can be shown in a single folder?

Thanks in advance for your help.

there isn't a limit with me. ask your host to see if they know.

you do have enough space on your webspace to hold all the images?

Oh yeah...all of the images are definitely on my server. So you think it might just be a restriction for the software?

I will take a look...thanks for the help.

Try CuteFTP (commercial) or Filezilla (open source)

I don't think if this is a problem with your host or anywhere, this is the limitation in your FTP Client software so that it should not take toooooooZzzzzz much time if there are a looooooooot of files to be listed.

I use CuteFTP Pro and it only lists first 1998 items and following is the text in status window...

STATUS:> [7/3/2006 16:26:57] Connecting FTP data socket xx.xx.xx.xx:58386...
[7/3/2006 16:26:58] 150 Accepted data connection
