Hi,

Anyone here using vTiger CRM? I'm currently looking at SugarCRM, XRMS, and vTiger and I'm leaning more towards vTiger because of its license, free plugins, the fact that it's a fork of Sugar. The v5 beta looks pretty good to me.

I'm just looking for opinions on the system from people who've used it or are currently using it. How's the resource usage like for 1-2 users? What do you think of speed, interface, and usability?

Thanks,
Philip

I eventually did go with vTiger. I don't really have anything bad to say about it. I only used it for a short while because I found my CRM needs to be rather light and I did not use many of its features. It was becoming more of just a contact manager so for just that, it was a bit overkill. I have other client data stored in separate systems like my helpdesk and billing app so I think I would find more value in a total integrated solution, which I'm still exploring.

On that note, I am however looking into cobbling together a custom backend using Drupal. Anyway, I digress.

We looked at a bunch of CRM software and found most of them to be far too bloated for us.

We just started using Highrise(www.highrisehq.com) from the magicians over at 37signals and it fits us perfectly, would highly recommend taking a look at it.

We use SugarCRM and we are quite happy with it. We use it for managing contacts, leads, setting up follow up actions, and tasks. User load is around 1-3 users.

ph23man: I can see why you would eventually use a different system if your needs came down to a contact manager.
