InstantSSL seems to very attractive - certs at $49. Are they that good with browser compatibility? Any experiences out there?

You don't have to use rackshack to get an SSL cert from them.

Hello
We use both
We pay $38 wholsesale for the Comodo certs and $85 for Geotrust

The compatibility is the same except Comodo does not support Opera (but will from the next Opera upgrade).

The other differences are:

Geotrust is a single cert installation - Comodo has a ca bundle to add (Not difficult once you have done the first one).

Geotrust insist on mailing a contact at the domain name for permission to issue the cert - Comodo don't (if you are signed up as aweb host not a reseller).

I am quite happy with the comodo certificates at the moment although I woul dbe happier if they had a single cert install.

Even though we have had numerous problems with Rackshack  we have bought quite a few ssl certs from them with no problems. I highly recommend them for the certs!

Look, I'm asking about InstantSSL here. Why keep on about Rackshack? We don't use them and never will.

This is a genuine request for info, not an excuse for people to post useless spam and up their count, know what I mean?

ROFL,, I know what you mean but I don't believe that was in their minds they were just taken away, anyways my friend uses instantssl and hasn't had any problems and says they are good with browser compatibility.

NexDog, you asked:

That seems to be feedback, and if quickcerts have better compatibility than what you are asking about and they cost the same well, then I'm not sure what you are asking?

You only want info about InstantSSL and nothing else no matter what, ok, people no info about other certs.

Fair enough, Chicken. I was under the impression that Rackshack's certs were exclusive to their clients. if that is not the case, I will look into them for sure.
