Well, its not unusual to get orders with stolen credit cards. Most of the time the people are smart enough to change the billing info on the card to their local info and risk the no AVS status, or use a card from the same country. But today was a new one for us. We had a customer sign up from China with an obviously chinese name, using a card from the US with a completely different name. Do you guys get alot of these bozos? (Not normal stolen cards, but the dumb ones)

In Addition, it just makes me angry that credit card companies dont care. We have given them the information of the person using the stolen card on many different happenings. Its always "We dont want to waste our resources chasing him" - the best thing we can do is give the info of the person using their card to the real owners - let the owners rip em up :)

Actually that's their usual MO. For some reason they still don't think hosting companies run reverse checking (maybe a lot still don't?). We've had people sign up using US details from all points of the 'known' fraud areas of the globe. Most just get voided, and a short e-mail sent telling them why. Best not to waste too much time on these guys, and concentrate on your real orders. :)

Short of changing the law to 'death by firing squad' for CC fraud they'll keep it up thinking they can get away with it.
