Reselling is using a shared account to sell other shared accounts on the same box IMHO

Its still reselling tho. you but a Shared hosting account right? you do the same with a dedicated server.

I would lump it the same.

If you are selling a shared account you are selling what ever the person that has the server will allow you to sell and you have no say in how the server is run. If you have a dedicated server you control it, everything about it, how it is laid out, what software is on it, if it even runs or not, etc. You can divide it up how ever you want.
For all intents and purposes you own exclusive use of the server and can do what ever you please with it including crash it if you want.

If you take your line of reasoning outto the extreme the NOC is nothing but a resller since they buy bandwidth from someone in bulk and resell it, GM is a resller since they buy steel from someone and mold it into a car.

Why jump in the middle of a guys advertisment to bring this lame subject up take to the lounge and discuss what a resller is there.
