I host with Bliksemhosting and am having problems with mailscanner. Im getting spam in my inbox.
Ive been told by bliskem support to configure my mailscanner more. I have configure it more tightly. I have the low scoring spam set to 2 and forward to spam@mydoimain.net (spam@sidnak.net). High scoring spam is set to 16 and to be deleted.
I recieved 5 spam emails this morning all showing that they are whitelisted and not spam somehow in the headers. The scores are high and should have been detected as spam, but they are not. Looking at the spam scores below of those emails ( Scores of 13,58,65,38,49) according to my configuration of mailscanner It should have deleted all of them except the one that scored 13. The 13 scored email should have been forwarded to my spam@mydomain.net (spam@sidnak.net) address. Isn't that correct?
None were deleted and none showed up in my spam@mydomain.net (spam@sidnak.net)account. It appears to me by looking at the headers that the reason why they are getting through is because they are showing up as (whitelisted). I only have like 5 domains listed as whitelist. None of the ones Im receiving spam from are them.
What do I need to do? From what I can tell I shouldnt be getting these eamils.
Heres the scores for those emails that I received.
X-Joie-MailScanner-SpamCheck: not spam (whitelisted),
SpamAssassin (not cached, score=13.052, required 2, BAYES_99 3.50,
