What? No! Can't be so.

You sure you're talking about HostOnce (http://www.webhostingtalk.com/search.php?s=&action=showresults&searchid=402541&sortby=lastpost&sortorder=descending)?

I hate to say this, no matter what they say, you're still a competitor to them. You should be the last person on earth bashing a fellow host. No matter if they offer unlimited banwidth (ick).

Edit:- This message was intended for the thread starter.

Just out of interested what is the email address to contact Microsoft about these kind of issues?

One...not professional to bash competitor and particularly with such strong words as lying.

Two...although I have no earthly idea but I suspect neither do you...they could be set up in another name with Microsoft. Just the benefit of the doubt.

Hopefully, they will clear it up for us.

While lame to start a thread to bash another host, I will say Hostoonce is not well received by the majority of users. Read reviews. Plus there are threads about false adverting, theft, and even a magazine has printed negatives about them.

I totally disagree - who cares if he is posting about a competitor or not? If they lied, they lied. He's not saying they are now the suckiest host in the world and all their customers should leave. Based on what he knows, they lied and he's posting it in the place that it should be posted. Unprofessional to bash another host? Define bashing. You easily would rally behind C*I H O S T bashers here, yet most of us compete with them. Asher, we should be the first to police our own industry, not the last. This doesn't smack of witchhunt or unfair criticism in any way to me.
Speak on if it be the truth brother!

Thanks, finally someone who talks with common sense.
For all of you who were wondering how to obtain such information, I just went to their site to the feedback section and sent them a message via their online form, then I got a reply, the person who read my message could not respond and forwarded my email to the correct department and today I received the final response, all within 24 hours! quite impressive for Microsoft ;)

Well, I wouldn't go so far as to say thsi si host bashing, however it also might not be proper for another host to post the info (think: something wrong on your site, host starts thread about it, yick).

Satj2000, you should be extremely confident that your information is correct, because if they are a partner under a different name, you could be faced with legal action (however unlikely, still possible).

Actually you're all completely wrong about this Microsoft thing. A company need only have 1 MCSD working for them to entitle them to display the logo they do - that is fact. They do not have to be a *partner*.
