Thanks Chicken. I didn't know who the dog was referring to.
There does seem to be a striking similarity though. :D

I hope Deb goes ahead and nails them to the wall for that - one of the most aggogant rip jobs in a while.

Oh yeah? What did they rip off? The people that "modeled" for Futurequest in the lower corner, or? Likely, it was the same designer for both sites, and rather than just using the standard ripped images (or free for use images), they went ahead and actually used the same purple-ish bar behind it and the same background color and layout. I'm not saying that's the case at all, but it might not be the site in question that are the people at fault. It's possible it's the designer. After all, not much on there is really original anyway.

I was being sarcastic, but really... Don't you wonder where the images of the people in the pages come from anyway? Where are people getting these?

Hey Tim, I'm choose to believe you're kidding on that post. Your sense of humor can be a little dry sometimes :)

It's theft pure and simple...not just of design but of the content as well. Some parts almost disgusting when you know the whole story...which is also being discussed on the FutureQuest Community Forums (link left out to please the great chicken)

Hopefully Nac.net will help us out with removing this insult quickly...

That'll teach me to think I can lower a work load and take some time off :stickout

I'd take it as a compliment if I were you, but not before emailing those ripoffs a lawsuit threat ;)

Deb, is that logo of yours trademarked? Site design/content officially registered at the ol' copyright office? Using the site design and text is one thing, but all of these idiots rip the logo as well without even thinking, as if it is just in the public domain.

The amount of site theft is really nasty I must say. I guess I shouldn't be surprised, but inspiration is one thing, that's just wayyyyyyy out there. That's, 'go into a grocery store and shove a steak down your pants' low, if you know whuddamean.
