You may want to learn flash 8 then, get hold of the software flash 8 and start learning. After downloading and purchasing it you may find tutorials on the internet helpful or if you visit a local library you should be able to borrow an in-depth book to help learn flash.

The book that comes with Flash (at least the last version I got) is about 6 feet think so that might help you also. Or maybe not.

Yours came with a printed manual? Mine came with a PDF manual on disk.

sitepointforums.com might be a good place for some flash help, tutorials too.
